Michael G. Hanrahan Esq.

In 1974 Mr. Hanrahan, joined his father's office for the general practice of law in Pelham, Westchester County New York. That practice was opened in 1946 by Mr. Hanrahan's father, G. Michael Hanrahan, after he retired as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). For more than seventy years the practice has served clients skillfully, faithfully and with compassion for their needs. Mr. Hanrahan's extensive knowledge and understanding of business and estate planning matters has prompted numerous clients to ask him to serve on their company's Board of Directors and as Trustee and/or as Executor in clients Estate planning documents. Mr. Hanrahan is currently representing great grandchildren of prior clients. Mr. Hanrahan has been "BV" Rated (very high legal ability and general ethical standards) in the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory.

During the firm's tenure, among other community service participation, Mr. Hanrahan or his father, have served the community as a Village Trustee, Police commissioner, President and Board Member of the Pelham Family Service, and President and Board Member of the Rotary Club of the Pelhams. He has also acted as a member of Westchester County's Arbitration panel, ruling in matters presented to him as Arbitrator. In addition, Mr. Hanrahan has represented clients on numerous occasions before municipal boards such as Zoning Board of Appeals and land use board applications. Mr. Hanrahan has also defended clients charged with misdemeanors, violations, and traffic infractions in Town and Justice Courts of the County.

In joining Bashian & Farber, LLP Mr. Hanrahan brings more than forty (40) years experience in a general practice of law. He has extensive experience in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, real estate financing, landlord/tenant matters, Estate Planning, Estate and Probate Administration, Estate Litigation, Wills, Trusts, Accountings, Elder Law and Guardianship matters. His experience also extends to drafting Estate and business related documents, including corporate formation and management matters, for high net worth individuals.
